Thursday - Testimonies

1). Song of the Day: Royal Tailor - Hope ♫

2). Blog Entry: Testimonies
- Next week, our annual regional SALT conference for young adults will take place in Sioux Falls, SD. All of our Chi Alphas are asked to participate and go. Last year at this time, we had three Chi Alphas to invite, but now NE has doubled to 6, with more on the way next year as well.
- I received a Facebook message from a former NYM student on Christmas Day. He was thanking me for his incredible experiences at our camp and telling me how they had a tremendous impact on his life.

3). Ministry of the Day: STL Map - See where Speed the Light is active all over the world

4). Link of the Day: Eco Freak - Eco Freak search engine aggregates and searches websites and libraries for free, swap & trade, and garage sale/estate sale(s) items

5). Quote of the Day: 'I think that people want peace so much that one of these days government had better get out of their way and let them have it.' - Dwight D. Eisenhower

6). Miscellaneous: Today is National Chocolate Day. It is also the birthday of Steve Hahn (pastor in Alliance), a distinction he shares with Mike Fowler (pastor in Clinton) and Andrew Johnson, 17th President of the US, from 1808. Finally, it is the anniversary of the day that the first YMCA opened in Boston in 1851.
