Monday - Life Lessons

1). Song of the Day: Kristina Cornell - Tell Them ♫

2). Blog Entry: Life Lessons
- In Omaha, I was driving to the gym in the early morning. On the way, the car in front of me seemed to be tail-gating the car in front of him. At an intersection, he pulled over over to the turning lane in the left at the light. I noticed the driver from the car in front of him glaring at him angrily. Later, a few miles down the road, that same car pulled up to a slow moving vehicle in our lane, and tail-gated him, until he moved to the side to allow him through.
- Isn't it interesting how we don't like to be tail-gated, but when we tail-gate someone else, it's OK? Remember the golden rule - 'do unto others what you would have them do unto you' (Matthew 7:12)

3). Ministry of the Day: STL Stories - A huge list of stories from both students and missionaries on how speed the light is changing lives across the world.

4). Link of the Day: Top NYM Photos of 2011 - Check out this link to view all of the photos individually, or check out this highlight video featured here.

5). Quote of the Day: 'A diplomat is a man who always remembers a woman's birthday but never remembers her age.' - Robert Frost

6). Miscellaneous: Today is National Motivation and Inspiration Day. It is also the beginning of the Salt Conference for College Students in the midwest in Sioux Falls, SD. It is the birthday of Jodi Banzhaf (Chi Alpha Director at Chadron State College), a distinction she shares with famous author Isaac Asimov, from 1920. Finally, it is the anniversary of the day that Amadeus I became King of Spain in 1871.
