Monday - Life Lessons

1). Song of the Day: Rend Collective - Second Chance ♫

2). Blog Entry: Life Lessons
- My wife is a realtor in Grand Island. Since she started this job last summer, she takes a tour once a week of different homes recently listed in the area. It's been an eye opener, not only for her as a new realtor, but also as a Christian. Sometimes, as Christians, we spend so much time with other Christians we forget what life can be like for those without Jesus. She's gone into several homes that were full of broken families, wayward teens, abuse, and the list goes on and on. We would all be better as witnesses for Christ if we could take a 'tour' of our city and see what's really going on in the streets of my mission field.

3). Ministry of the Day: On Course Magazine - Check out this powerful Christian magazine for teens, provided by our National Youth Office in Springfield, MO.

4). Link of the Day: A good host - Check out this list of ways to be a good host for others in the 21st Century.

5). Quote of the Day: 'A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths.' - Steven Wright

6). Miscellaneous: Today is National Robert E Lee Day. It is also the birthday of Chris Wadle (pastor in Big Springs) a distinction he shares with famous baseball player Albert Pujols from 1980. Finally, it is the beginning of our NE ministers retreat in Kearney, and the anniversary of the day that the battle of Cape St. Vincent took place in the American Revolution in 1780.
