- Last week was our annual Ministers Winter Retreat in Nebraska. It was a great time of connecting with other pastors from across the state. On the first morning of a three day event, we offered free coffee to all of our ministers, as a way to thank them for their incredible giving to STL and BGMC in 2011. We had just purchased a new professional coffee machine for district use and we thought this would be a great way to help break it in with our pastors. It worked great. Everyone appreciated the free cup of joe, and they saw that it was a quality blend so they came back to pay for more throughout the rest of the event.
- Sometimes, letting people have a taste will help them buy into the entire vision of what you are trying to accomplish. A little taste can go a long way.

6). Miscellaneous: Today is National Pie Day. It is also the day we recommend our NE Churches to order their Spring Sunday School Curriculum. It is the birthday of Oral Roberts, famous American pastor and evangelist, from 1918. Finally, it is the anniversary of the day that the first Apple Macintosh Computer went on sale in 1984.
